Wednesday Video(s): Jawbox

Jawbox was on Jimmy Fallon last night? I had no idea. They ripped the hell out of “Savory”:

They also played “68″ and “FF=66″ during rehersal, and NBC posted them on the web:

I was going to tweet this, but it’s just a bit too long to get the whole thing out.

With Comcast buying NBC, does that now mean that programs will now be scheduled to air sometime within a four-hour window? Will they, in fact, air at least two hours after the end of that window?

I can see it now… “The Office, Thursday between 6-10pm”, actual air time: 11:45.

Wednesday Video: Exploding Whale

This week’s video is not a music video, it’s more of a nostalgia piece.

I remember when it took over an hour to download expwhale.mov. Now it’s on YouTube and it takes about zero seconds.

For reference, here’s the one other video that I remember downloading for multiple hours just for 5 minutes of viewing at 320×240: The Spirit if Christmas.
